Health Agency Ensures to Provide Health Services for Fauzi Bowo

Former Jakarta Governor, Fauzi Bowo and his wife, Sri Hartati were reported exposed to COVID-19 based on lab results on last Thursday (7/1). Jakarta Health Agency ensured their condition are currently stable. Now they are undergoing self-isolation and treatment at home.

"Our personnel are providing health service to Mr. Fauzi Bowo and his wife. They have been vaccinated with two doses of Pfizer when they were in Berlin (Germany). His aides have also been vaccinated with two doses of vaccines in Indonesia. So, in general, people around them have been vaccinated," said Widyastuti, Head of Jakarta Health Agency, Monday (7/5).

She explained that he did a lab check at hospital in Central Jakarta and his family coordinated with Jakarta Health Agency.  Then her side made sure to give assistance for providing treatment at home based on his condition, which is currently stable.

Her side accompanied in giving medicines from doctor who treated him. As well as preparing medical team for consultation in order to anticipate if further treatment is needed. Based on observation of medical team accompanying him, his condition was stable until yesterday.

"He doesn't have much contact with outside parties and so far he wants to receive self-isolation treatment at home. But we are ready if later he wants further treatment," she mentioned.

According to her, medicines and injections that will be given to him should be monitored and assisted by medical team. her side will continue to carry out tests according to established standards.

"Examination and drug administration are ensured to follow the standards of doctor who regularly checks his condition," she conveyed.
